Here is a very good example of the largest size of the Confederate Gardner pattern bullet. With typical two-groove Gardner characteristics, but in .69 caliber. Nose cast with deep cone cavity.
Measures 1.125” tall and 0.69” in diameter; cavity is 0.435” deep. Very nice “dug” specimen with a small flat spot on one side of skirt. Nice white and tan patina overall. [jet][ph:JET]
