P1853 ENFIELD SOCKET BAYONET MADE INTO POT/BODY HOOK

$250.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 490-6760

This is an excavated relic. Iron Enfield bayonet is rusty and pitted but very solid and stable. The tip of the blade was bent into a hook shape.

These are undoubtedly soldier-made pot hooks. However, the ghoulish fascination with them having been used to drag decomposing bodies around will never die (pun intended).

A fine relic bayonet made into a hook.  [jet] [ph:L]
