BRASS BUGLE MOUTH PIECE FROM BRANDY STATION

$25.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 2023-2926

This excavated bugle mouth piece is in fairly good condition and has a very pleasing dark green patina. Some very slight damage to the thin edge that fits into the bugle.

It was reportedly recovered near Brandy Station, Virginia, where one of the largest cavalry engagements took place.

A similar example can be found in "Civil War Artifacts" by Howard Crouch. This fine relic will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War campsite or general relic collection. [jet] [ph:L]
