The standard ammunition for the 3.67” Parrott rifled cannon. This shell was fired but remains in excellent condition. Likely an early pick-up. There is no fuse adaptor and threads remain in fine condition. A new fuse could be screwed back in.
Iron sabot shows rifling grooves. Iron surfaces remain smooth and very clean. Interior is empty; a very nice artillery shell. [JET][PH:L]
