This item is a small section of mining rail measuring 2 ½” long & 1 ½” tall; it is 1 ½” wide at the base, and ¾” wide at the top. Shows some surface rust but is in good, solid condition. Bottom has piece of green felt attached.
The piece is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Colorado Collectibles which states that it is from the Daybreak Mine, Eagle Gulch, Bonanza Mining District of Colorado and is over 100 years old. There is also an accompanying 4” x 6” color photo of the entrance to the mine.
