Small section of wood meas. approx. 3.00 x 1.75 x 1.00 inch contains a fired three ring minie ball. The point of the bullet has been flattened some by impact but the rings are still visible on the base.
Digger marked the wood in black magic marker with “PETERSBURG, VA.”
