Here is a very personal item from a Civil War soldier. Likely a wedding ring, this was lost and recovered in one of the camps around Fredericksburg, Virginia.

This thin gold ring measures approximately 0.75” in diameter, 0.12” wide, and 0.035” thick.

Unmarked with light wear and untarnished gold tone.  [jet] [ph:L]
