Bayonet is complete with a full-length triangular blade and mortised socket. Both are encrusted with a thin layer of rust.
The blade face is wide with no visible fuller. Socket meas. approx. 3 3/16 of an inch long with a thin rolled collar. No markings are visible. Blade meas. approx. 14.50 inches long and is 1.00 inch wide at the ricasso.
