From the collection of an old time Fredericksburg relic hunter comes this iron bullet mold. This is an iron scissor-type mold that cast a .69 caliber round ball. The iron is in very good condition as it was recovered by this gentleman so long ago. The 6” long mold is rusty by can still open.
Recovered from one of the Confederate winter campsites that surrounded the town of Fredericksburg, Virginia. [jet] [ph:L]
