This is about half of an excavated spur…very large and heavy western-style spur.

This piece consists of one are and the neck/rowel. The other arm is broken off and missing. Measures approximately 6” long overall. Made of brass, this has an arm the is nearly 1” high with a round “button” on the end for the spur strap. An elaborate neck curls around, ending with about half the rusty iron rowel in place.
