Excavated brass fuse in very good condition. Brass fuse has perfect green patina and some surface dirt remaining. Fuse was fired and there is a ding on one side of the top flange. Anvil on top is slightly unscrewed. Patent information stamped on top is generally visible through the dirt, “J. P. SCHENKL / PAT. OCT. 10, 1861”.
