RARE .69 CALIBER GARDNER BULLET

$90.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 490-3605

Here is an excellent example of the largest size of the Confederate Gardner pattern bullet.  With typical two-groove Gardner characteristics, but in .69 caliber.  Nose cast with shallow cone cavity.  Measures 1.145” tall and .690” in diameter.

Gardner held Confederate States Patent #12 for his machine that formed the unique Gardner cartridge.

Very nice “dug” specimen with light tan patina overall.  [jet] [ph:jet]
