Button is in perfect dug condition with no gilt remaining. Face is in excellent condition and reverse has a good shank and a maker’s mark of “WATERBURY BUTTON CO.”

Button was recovered in the wooded area near the Dunker Church at Antietam. [ad] [ph:L]
