Excavated Model 1863 cavalry bit. Bit measures approximately 5.5” wide x 9” inches long. Bit is complete; still retaining the two “US” bosses on the sides, the bottom cross bar, both rings, and the curb chain.
Bit is in very good rusty, “relic” condition. Very stable and no surface flaking.
