Spur is broken but complete. One of the keepers snapped off but it is present with the item and can be repaired if desired.
Of thin brass construction this spur is decorated with a five-pointed star behind each keeper with the letters “CS” on either side of the rowel neck. Iron rowel is present but frozen and is missing two or three points.
Place of recovery is not known.
