The standard ammunition for the 3-inch Parrot rifled cannon. This shell was fired but remains in excellent condition. Possibly an early pick-up. The fuse adaptor is gone but the threads are perfectly clean. Iron sabot shows rifling grooves and has a couple of cracks, otherwise very good. Recovery location unknown.   [JET]
