This small riker box contains several items that were dug in the low country (coast) of South Carolina. The relics are as follows:

Oval pattern 1839 US belt plate with a green face with a chipped edge. Reverse has both arrow hooks and tongue with 80% of the lead fill remaining.

Half of a harmonica reed

Brass finial from a US Model 1855 bayonet scabbard. Finial is slightly crimped

Model 1842 musket wrench

Small piece of stem from a clay pipe

Cartridge box rivet

A badly worn Spencer shell casing  [ad]
