Regulation iron hammer used by artillerymen.  Small square hammer head with nail claw attached to tapered “handle” that ends in a tow hook. Measures 13” long with a 2” hammer head. Well used and recovered at Chancellorsville, VA.  Iron has surface pitting typical of a “dug” relic.  [jet]
