RELIC REVOLUTIONARY WAR SASH BUCKLE

$35.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 883-130

Recovered in the greater Richmond, VA area. Excavated, large sash buckle, probably from the Revolutionary War era. Constructed of sheet brass, this buckle features three brass, wire tines. It appears that it might have been lightly plated at one time, but now only a smooth brown patina covers almost the entire piece. This measures 3 ¾” x 2 ½”. This is in very nice shape with no bends or twists.  [JET]
