RELIC P-1853 ENFIELD RAMROD

$75.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 343-12

This Enfield ramrod was one of two found in 1977 sticking straight out of the ground where the U.S. Second Corps fought at Chancellorsville, Va. Soldiers would stick their ramrod in the ground while on a firing line believing it saved time in the loading process. If forced to move quickly they often forgot their ramrod. Relic condition, but coated and very solid. Threaded end (that was stuck in ground) is in rough condition while cup end is in excellent shape.
