This non-excavated projectile is in perfect condition. Nice wrought iron sabot, with lathe dimple on base. Has remains of the lathe dog near fuse hole. Missing the copper fuse plug; one would easily screw in. Body of projectile has lathe marks still visible. A perfect example, painted black with a minor casting flaw/chip meas. approx. 1”. No rust/pitting.
