This military artifact is a relic Remington Model Army .44 caliber revolver recovered from an unknown location. Issued to Federal cavalrymen during the Civil War, this sidearm is complete with barrel, frame, cylinder, triggerguard, trigger, both wood grips and loading lever. Loading lever is missing the small locking latch on bottom of the barrel near the muzzle. Heavily rusted and pockmarked, the 99% complete, veteran Remington Army revolver features a frozen shut hammer and cylinder.
