This knife has an overall measurement of approx. 12.25 inches.

The blade is rusted throughout and has moderate to severe pitting. The edge shows some chipping. Blade length is approx. 8.00 inches.

The iron counterguard is elliptical and in good condition.

The handle is missing the wood or bone grip and is rusted and pitted to match the blade. The handle meas. approx. 4.25 inches long.

The rust has been stabilized and coated with a coat of clear lacquer.

As stated above the knife was recovered at Antietam.
