This pocketknife is formerly from the collection of well-known relic collector Mac Mason. The knife is rusted and is flaking some and needs another coat of clear lacquer. The knife is complete with the blade and one of the wooden side panels. This panel is marked with silver lettering that reads “FORT MAGRUDER / VIRGINIA, NOV. 1964.”
Fort Magruder was located on the Peninsula between Yorktown and Williamsburg.
