This Vermont state seal button is Tice #VT230A5 and Albert’s #VT9.
The button has darkened with age and has a large push at center. All the details of the state seal are clearly visible. There are no cracks or breaks.
The reverse has the complete shank and a raised maker’s mark in a depressed channel that reads “SCOVILL MF’G. CO. WATERBURY.”
The button comes housed in a small hard plastic box with two hand printed labels. One reads “VERMONT STATE SEAL” and the other reads “VERMONT BUTTON, WINCHESTER, VA. FOUND MAY 1975.”
This all makes a very nice little display.
