Fired from an 8 inch smoothbore. Nicely painted around fuse hole, “Relic of Fort Darling”. Most likely fired by a riverboat gun at a CS Fort during the Seven Days Battle. An early battlefield pickup. Retains a lot of the original arsenal paint.
