This brass scabbard section meas. approx. 6.25 inches long. One side is engraved with a scalloped edge design. The reverse is blank.
Small old paper label attached to one side reads “SCABBARD WHITE OAK SWAMP, VA. 1969.”
The battle of White Oak Swamp was fought June 30, 1862 and is part of the Seven Days Battles before Richmond.
