This is an early battlefield pick up from the Remsburg collection. Mr. & Mrs. Remsburg were early collectors of Antietam items. This particular bayonet  has had approx. 5.50 inches flattened and turned to make a hook. Bayonet is in good condition with light surface pitting. Locking ring is still present but frozen in place.
