Image is of a standing Union soldier posing before a photographer’s painted canvas backdrop depicting a camp with palm trees. Soldier wears regulation 9-button frock coat with brass shoulder scales. He wears regulation waist belt with US plate, percussion cap pouch, and bayonet. He wears a regulation forage cap.
