Print shows the 28th Massachusetts of the Irish Brigade under fire while charging up Marye’s Heights at Fredericksburg. At center, flying above the embattled line of determined Union soldiers, is the large emerald green flag bearing the gold harp insignia at center surmounted by the words “IRISH BRIGADE” in gold lettering in a red riband.

Print is unfarmed and unmatted. It is signed by the artist and is number 584 of 950 and comes with its certificate.  Item has some minor imperfections along the top edge in the form of wave lines but these do not affect the art work itself.

This is a hard-to-find print in any condition. [ad] [ph:L]
