CDV is of a curly haired young officer sporting a goatee. Image is a vignette showing only from the shoulders up. He wears a dark frock coat with shoulder straps, a white collared shirt and dark bowtie.

Contrast and clarity are good. Paper and mount are in good condition.

Reverse has a photographer’s imprint for GILL’S CITY GALLERY… LANCASTER, PA. There is also a 2 cent tax stamp that has been canceled by the name “GILL” being stamped over it.  [ad][ph:L]
