CDV is of an older bearded gentleman leaning against the base of a column. He wears a matching suit of light-colored material including a double-breasted frock coat, vest and trousers. Though the coat is worn open, several military style brass buttons can be seen.
Contrast and clarity are excellent as are the paper and mount.
Reverse has a photographer’s imprint for CHS R. REES…RICHMOND, VA.
