CDV is a vignette bust view of an unidentified Union soldier wearing a dark frock coat with piping on the collar, white shirt and dark bowtie.

Contrast and clarity are good. Paper and mount have moderate amounts of surface dirt but the image does not suffer.

Reverse is blank but for some collector information in pencil.
