Image is a chest-up view of a young soldier posed in a partial right profile. He wears a light-colored shell jacket with wooden buttons and a matching vest beneath.
Contrast and clarity are excellent. Paper and mount are very good with just a tiny bump to the mounts upper right corner.
Reverse has no photographer’s imprint but does have the ghost of a removed tax stamp.
Image is from the collection of the late William A. Turner who wrote in pencil on the back of the image “SCHOENDORN FAMILY ALBUM D.C.” Research did not reveal any soldiers with that last name. [AD] [ph:L]
