CDV is of an unidentified Union soldier posed with one hand resting on a chair. The subject wears a dark frockcoat with quartermaster sergeant chevrons visible on one sleeve and light trousers with a wide dark leg stripe. In his right hand he holds a dark forage cap with crossed cannons over the number “6” on the crown.
Image has excellent clarity and contrast. Mount and paper are very good.
Reverse is blank but for a wiggly pencil line running vertically down the center with collector information in pencil at bottom. [ad] [ph:L]
