This CDV view of Jefferson Davis is one of the most reproduced images of the Confederate President. The image shows Davis from just below the waist up. He is standing in partial profile from the left in a dark suit and white shirt with one hand resting on a book on a table.
The reverse of the image has a back mark that reads E. & H. T. ANTHONY…FROM A BRADY NEGATIVE.
