This cdv photograph is a bust view of a Confederate Captain. The three stripes are visible on his collar. Image is clear with good contrast. Mount remains in fine condition. Photographer's backmark, Lumpkin & Co., Richmond, Va.
Pencil identification on back, "Capt. William Carrington." Also two regimental associations. No such person can be found in research.
