Waist up view of Jackson wearing a drawn in double-breasted Confederate uniform with a dark high collar with two stars separated by a shield.
Image has good clarity but the contrast is on the light side.
Bottom of mount has printed caption of “BRIG. GEN. “STONEWALL” JACKSON” and 1862 publishing information.
Photo and mount have some light surface dirt. There are two spots of discoloration above the General’s head.
Reverse has photographer’s mark for E. ANTHONY.
