Lithograph in CDV format depicting a scene in an African-American church gathering. All those portrayed in the image have stereotyped features. The preacher in the pulpit exclaims, "If dem profane remarks from de rear seats don't stop, dar will be trubble soonerdan "wipe off my chin" I'll adjurn dis meetin, suah." There is a bird in the back "parroting" him with "wipe off your chin." Some light wear and soiling. One crease across card. No backmark.
