Image features an outdoor scene of eight Civil War veterans having a picnic along a stream. They are dressed in civilian clothing, and some of their coats and hats are lying on the table which is covered with a checkered table cloth. There is a banner to the left with the G.A.R. symbol and the words, “WELCOME”.
Contrast is very good and image is clear. Edges have light wear and surface dirt. [sm][ph:L]
