Albumen photo of two horses peeking out through their barn door is mounted on light blue-gray cardstock. Image was part of the "Studies From Nature" series by Schreiber & Sons of Philadelphia. Series dates to the 1870's to 1880's. It featured various animals.
Image measures 3.25" square. Cardstock measures 5.5" by 7". Yellowing on cardstock has occurred from age. Corners are slightly bent. Image is very clear with good contrast. [sl] [ph:L]
