Bust view wearing civilian clothing. Printed at the bottom of the image is “JONAS FORRISTALL, Co. A.” Period ink on reverse:  “Jonas Forrestall / Fitzwilliam N.H. / Co. A, 2d N.H.V. / died Oct. 25, 1862 / Hospital Annapoliss”. No BM.

Overall very good condition. Minor scattered wear to edges of mount.

Forristall was born in Fitzwilliam, NH and enlisted there on 5/22/61 as a Private at the age of 21. On 5/31/61 he was mustered into Co. A, 2nd NH. Died of disease on 10/26/62 at Fairfax Seminary Hospital, VA.[ld] [ph:L]
