Bust view wearing civilian clothing. Printed at the bottom of the image is “JOHN A. DRUMMER, Co. A.” Period ink on reverse:  “John A. Drummer / Co. A. 2nd N.H.Vol. / Keene N.H. / Died Dec. 9, 1861”. No BM.

Overall very good condition. Minor scattered wear to edges of mount.

Drummer was a 20 year old resident of Keene, NH when he enlisted on 5/22/61 as a Private. On 5/31/61 he mustered into Co. A, 2nd NH. Died of disease on 12/9/61 at Charles County, MD. [ld] [ph:L]
