Purple cloth covered CDV album meant to be carried in the pocket or haversack. Item meas. approx. 4.50 x 3.25 inches and holds 12 CDV sized images. This album is full of images of the Dickey family. All the images are Civil War period except two that look to be from the 1870’s. The album contains 10 CDVs and 2 gem sized tintypes. There are 5 images of men and 5 of woman and 2 are group shots. Most of the back marks on the images are from New Hampshire and Philadelphia. There is also one from Maine and one from Vermont. Some of the pages are torn but all the images are in good condition. The cloth on the outside of the album has faded some but it is still in good shape. This is the kind of album carried by a traveler or soldier as it is easy to store and is lightweight.
