Album meas. approx. 14.00 x 9.00 inches with a cardboard cover in good condition. Cover is decorated with the RAD emblem of shovel head with swastika and wheat stalks in color on the cover and is marked “ARBEITSGAU XXV / WIESBADEN.” Item shows light wear and has one loose page.
Album dates from between 1935 and 1936 and contains 40 photographs. There are two photographs of Hitler but they are cigarette album photos that have been pasted in. The other photos are all related to the worker.
Photos show camp life, inspections, parades, training, work details, sports and graduations. A variety of uniforms and clothing are seen as are several daggers. Two handwritten letters and one post card come with the album. [[ad]
