Album has padded black leather cover with applied white metal eagle and swastika. Lower right corner of the cover has “KRIEGSERINNERINGEN” or “WAR MEMORIES.” Album meas. approx.13.50 x 9.50 inches.
The item contains 226 pictures of war scenes in Poland, France and Russia. Some of the images show dated German graves, destroyed motorcycle, destroyed armored vehicle, crashed Russian “Yak” aircraft, dead soldiers, black prisoners, bombed buildings and bridges and blown apart artillery pieces.
There are also several German awards shown on uniforms such as the Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class, sports badges, Infantry assault badges, silver and black Wound badges etc... [ad]
