Mostly of Connecticut civilians, with many ”Hennigar / Middletown / CT” backmarks. Brown leather album measures 5.75 x 4.75 x 2.25”. Ornate leather spine is split, while inner photo signatures remain tight and compact. Outer rubbing at the extremities. Album leaves gilt edged on all side. Two brass clasps on outer edge, both workable. CDVs within contain sixteen males, twelve females, one couple, two children and two babies, of various ages in 1860s period dress. Most CDVs are clear and crisp A nice gallery of Connecticut 1860s CDVs. Invites further research.
