Three photographs, approximately 4”x3”, of Isaac H. Chinery decked out in his G.A.R. uniform. In two of the 1912-dated photos he is accompanied by two nephews wearing their uniforms including Mills patent belts. Various pencil notations on the backs.
“Uncle Isaac” H. Chinery was in Company “E” of the 71st New York State Militia from April 1861 to July 1861. From New Brunswick, NJ, Chinery was born in 1829 and died in 1913.
