This framed and matted collection of photos appears to be a page from an old album as the images are hand ruled and labeled with black ink on a single base sheet. The modern gold-tone frame measures 15.5” x 14.5” and has a few small scuffs.
The five photos show scenes of Richmond and look to be the square type used on stereo cards. The two on top are panoramic views of Richmond taken from Libby Hill. A green stereo card label is mounted below them.
The three images on the bottom are individually captioned; “Statue of Henry Clay, Richmond”, “Statue of Stonewall Jackson”, and “Monument to Confederate Dead”.
All five images are clear with good contrast. From the Willam Turner collection. [jet][ph:L]
