Pictured here (left to right) is veteran Martin A. Loop of Sacramento, California and John W. Harris of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Both former soldiers wear the membership badges of their respective groups;  Grand Army of the Republic, and United Confederate Veterans. This original black and white wire photo takes place on the opening day of the 75th Anniversary in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, June 29. 1938.  There is a caption accompanying the image that reads:
